wow, envy you. how i wish i have that. really wish to grab that pre and the mono too. you have the famous 8000T tuner too?
The balance cable between the 8000DAC & 8000CDM can be sensitive to the type of cable used. I had to change the cable a few times before it sounded natural.

ReplyDeleteIf the 8000DAC sounds tired aka need about an hour before it sounds right, then the power supply capacitors need to be change.
Once done, it is a great DAC. Have an entire set of the British Audiolabs myself.
