damn
went to an antique store along highway 1 (near Hearst castle) and saw this turntable
all mint and all original (except the cartridge)
platter, mat, headshell, 7" adapter, cable and the alignment bearing stone all are intact
plinth and cover also almost perfect. i rated it 99% used-new
and it is just US$65 (before bargain)
so tempted to buy but think of carrying it back to SG is going to be hassle la..
very reluctant to give it a miss damn...
