he claimed the sounding of his Rega P3 (RB301, outboard PSU) is much inferior to his YBA CDP
he suspected the setup is not right as the seller used this desk with an AV receiver
first checked with the alignment mat and obviously the cartridge is badly aligned
can you spot the 2 pics above, which is before and after?
spent another 30min on trying out difference forces and he confirmed the bass and the slam is back for Adele 21, Rolling In The Deep
now the desk is all set and ready to spin...
