bought this legendary deck and a Garrard 301 back in Jun2014.
given the opportunity to grab some of the parts so i decided to revive the TD124MK2 first ;-)
DIY to clean up the grease and residue on the main deck
prior to that the dirt all around this 40+yrs old player
also to play safe, I sent to Adrian to change the capacitors
is a MK2 with serial# 89881
lucky the roller still in good shape
the rubbers for the motor suspensions still providing good isolation for the motor with the main chassis
MK2 comes with the non-magnetic platter. quite heavy though
grabbed this original plinth. some scratches on the top and side. nothing much to complain given the price and age of this item
included the mushrooms but not the washer so i use similar rubber to cushion the rubbers
here the half-completed set... pending the armboard and the SME arm
will be continued...
