Spot the difference for Pic A & B

unlike some TT like Technics SL1200 where you can adjust the VTA, PS58 the arm is fixed and if you changed to a cartridge where the body height is short e.g Shure V15 series and the arm will lean downward to the record surface and some say could destroy the record as the stylus lean more weight and cut on to the groove
my workaround and solution is to use a cock-mat
buddy Benny tailor made this for me, source from Daiso $2 and cut to the size of 12" and punch a hole @ the center for the spindle
this cock-mat effectively increases about 3mm height and the arm on the record is almost horizontally align
beside adding this cock-mat, you may use a spacer in between of the cartridge and the headshell.
i tried that and it achieve the same result as the cock-mat
however, i cant differentiate whether the cock-mat or spacer which is better in term of sounding but i doubt they are any significant or audible differences

anyway, hope you find this little tip useful and happy spinning...
