Bought this lp today from Roxy records (the one at excelsior hotel). This is the first 1989 USA elektra pressed. Buy mainly due to the famous track "dun know much" featuring Aaron Neville & "I need you".

Linda Ronstadt ~ Silk Purse (and 2 pigs)

decided to only keep this LP and sold off most of her other albums within 1-2days

reason as in i like the song B/1 "long long time" so much... the same song also appears in her greatest hits V2 but as i like the back cover so i decided to keep it!

very unique cover design, it is like a slip-in envelope casing. similar to one of the album by carpenters

top pick songs are: A2 skylark, A1 when i fall in love and B5 falling in love again

it is a nice and must have album to complete the trilogy. it is not expensive @ ebay. go get it..or you may wait as i might be selling my spare copies ;-)

also released as a boxset  round midnight, think i have purchased this boxset quite sometime ago from a local seller...

my fav picks for this album are "i've got a crush on you", "crazy he calls me" and "lover man"

i have few copies of this album, so don't be surprise you will see the same cover appear again in the coming LOT for sale...

will find time to share the remaining 2/3 and 3/3... cheers,
