so call Promo lp

This is nothing more than a normal album, the special thing is it has a big sticker label to indicate  is for promotional use only

this gold stamp is very common, similar to above and as indicated in the text, this album is lent for promotional use only

this is a promo copy as indicated clearly in the label

mostly a promo copy should comes with the code xPROx

another example of a promo LP, but  this compilation is without the code of xPROx

dun ask me why and i wish to know too!!!

so is promo LP really sounds better?

personally i dun fully agree... it is very much depending on individual preferences.. to me i find some of the 12" single is as good as the promo

here the few reasons i would pay a higher price for a promo LP:

1) they are likely from the early pressing from the original recording source hence a better quality

2) they are rarer as limited copies are made

3) potential some mixes where is not available in the album/12" releases

that's all i have to say... and happy spinning ;-)
