Am considering to sell away my Akai AP004 full auto TT again... coz i have just acquired a Thorens TD150mII from a friend. As space is a concern so i might have to sell this great looking Japan made deck in the 80s... all minor issues that i previously reported has been resolved by AV Sigma and is in great working condition...
Am considering to sell this for S$280 (without cartridge) to recover some of my repair cost....

hi friend, thks for dropping by my blog. yes, this is indeed a damn good looking tt with muscular plinth and strong iron cast that holding the heavy platter. + original cover & factory recommended cartridge Shure M91ED installed... wonderful. Mr Chong (a newbie into the dark vinyl) is v.happy about this TT.
ReplyDeletei find the Akai & Thorens are in par. Hardly can spot any significant differences.. one + point the akai is it is auto and can do auto return/stop whereas the Thorens will be running infinite @ the inner groove...
btw, you @ SG or somewhere else on earth?
