Buyer and Seller

few buyers came my place and over chit-chat asked why I titled the subject header with "Super Norm or Super Ordinary or Not Rare etc..."

my response to them is standard across, what exactly is RARE?

in the eyes of the buyer, or the intend of buying, is he/she buying the "RARE" word or the music/artist that he/she wanted?

IMO, the word RARE, SUPER RARE etc.. that often appear in the subject title is simply hype and nothing special to attract viewing. come on, higher viewership doesn't mean higher chance of selling the item. i do clicked on and see how RARE is RARE but most of the time it is same old thingy, self-proclaimed R-A-R-E... irritating!! sirloin streak medium rare please...

some seller even "threaten" if no taker will COLD-STORAGE the CD/LP. gosh, what can he/she gets out from the statement?!... in this buy/sell world there is no such thing as pitiful even you sell it @ rock-bottom price. if you cant hold the item, lets slash it from S$10 slash to S$8 to S$6 and SOLD and the buyer will just bluff out the word "thank you" and laughing all his way home. congrats, you just get to know and earn a cheapo buyer/friendship

ever encounter few cheapo buyers so irritating by keep spamming sms for (more) discount or wait till i drop price. ya. i will do so if my CD/LP has an expiry date. dream on.... true enough, i will not slash price (ever) for the reason not to get those cheapo buyer (=cheapo seller gets cheapo buyer). however i welcome sincere buyer to offer me reasonable price. am fine to slash price in return for a friendship

best conversation ever that i received some months ago:

Mr X: Hey SK, I interested in the LP le. You selling for S$x?

SK: Yes, (as usual) come take a look then you decide. condition as described. else money back

Mr X: but i saw the same copy in the shop and they only selling S$x with x% discount

SK: (paused for seconds). then you buy from them la...so simple

Mr X: (paused for seconds) ok thank you.

i guess he must be betting if i can offer him MORE discount that the shop. first, i dun even know if the statement he made is trustworthy or not. anyway.. F-off la. this is truly the king of cheapo.
