original look |
motor is 220v tested working. no need to drill holes as the chassis already 5 holes to hold the board |
connector to on/off and speed switcher |
done job |
today 9am send him in to Memory Lane for operation
naked him. removed the unnecessary parts, fit up the interface board and connect the on/off speed controller. done.
tested with the outboard PSU and the motor, on/off, change speed all sui-sui
the whole operation completed in less than an hour
beside Adrian (he "molested" all my turntables), also thanks to Edmund (the seller of this MOSE+Hercules from HK) as he is on-line standby (via whatsapp from HK) to support my queries
two thumbs up for them. highly recommended
now the Linn can dance already but still need the arm to hold the mic to sing...

this is what i get for S$400 (about my new LV wallet) |
the previous owner must be using an outboard PSU to power the the motor with this 5-pin connector |
the pulley |
the motor and the chassis |
am not sure if this impulse purchase if a good or bad thing
so many claimed the LP12 is SoSoSo good so i take the bet to invest in one
is a plain vanilla deck without cover and few unless cables tangling on it
read up and realize i need either an internal power supply (Valhalla) or outboard PSU like Linn Lingo etc..
continue reading and surfing and i found the product MOSE+Hercules from Ebay@HK
after few email correspondence (with the seller Edmund/HK) and i ordered the MOSE+Hercules from him. Coincidentally my wife on SQ2 (SG-HK-SFO-HK-SG) and able to pick it up from him and save on the US$40 shipment
so the PSU issued is solved and now i got to tackle the arm
total invest S$815
more to come (and spend, ji-la-kart *&^@~#)
